Elearning: LDT Student Agency Onboarding

Following Cathy Moore's Action Mapping and the Successive Approximation Model, I created a 40-minute onboarding course designed to prepare learners for joining a new organization while activating crucial prior knowledge.

​What was my role in this project?

  • Created 3 module course on Rise which used in-product and accessory interactivity features including:

    • In product: branching scenarios, quizzes, flashcards, drag and drop

    • Accessory: TypeForm, Interview JS, self-created youtube video, Anchor Podcast

  • Worked with the LDT Agency Client weekly to provide progress updates, implement feedback and adhere to the Project Map.

  • Considered data analytic structures to provide actionable data to stakeholders.

  • Utilized the Successive Approximation Model (a redesign of ADDIE) and Action Mapping

How did I make this accessible?

  • Articulate Rise is an inherently accessible platform, but there are a few interactivity components that are not accessible to keyboard only users such as the scenarios section. To support this, I used Universal Design for Learning for users to access content in a variety of ways.
